Job Description: 

We are looking for a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. You will work with our team to ensure that all vehicles run efficiently and meet safety standards. If you have a passion for vehicles and mechanical systems, we want to hear from you! 

Essential Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues in trucks and equipment. 
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks. 
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems. 
• Conduct safety inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they meet regulatory standards. 
• Small engine repair and maintenance. 
• Pneumatic and electric tool repair. 
• Fabricate and weld part of various items. 
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and apply appropriate solutions. 
• Keep accurate records of services and repairs performed. 
• Communicate with different vendors to obtain parts and services for vehicles and tools. 
• Shop and building maintenance. 
• Unload deliveries and shipments using forklift. 
• DOT inspections. 
• Maintain service records and licensing for vehicles. 
• Service calls to field operations when needed. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and providing cost estimates. 
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role. 
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical repair techniques. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers. 
• Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus. 
• Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
