Field Superintendent
Green Bay, Appleton, Milwaukee

Absolute Concrete is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Superintendent to join our team. A successful field superintendent will be responsible for planning and executing project plans, working closely with project foreman and crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to Absolute Concrete’s standard of quality.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and supervising project plans
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities throughout the process
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in and sign out sheets
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties
• Additional duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Proven experience required
• At least five years of experience in concrete project execution
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to travel
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering strongly preferred
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
